Littleton, Colorado, a suburb of the Denver-Aurora area, with a population of over 40,342. Littleton became widely known all over the nation in 1999 when the Columbine High School massacure occured. Although Columbine High School is not one of the Littleton Public Schools, it does have a Littleton Zip Code, therefore it became associated with the city of Littleton. Starting in July of 2000, Littleton began serving its community by using the Regional Transportation District's light rail system. Littleton, also happens to be the grave of Alferd Paker, who happens to be one of the three people that were imprisoned in the United States for Cannibalism.
